Two of the Netherlands’ top export products include Design and, of course, cheese. Not too long ago, marketing consultant Marinde van Leeuwen wondered why the two shouldn’t join forces, and so she came up with the brilliant concept of DesignKAAS.
For the cheese jacket designs, Van Leeuwen has turned to all things typically and traditionally Dutch – tulips, windmills, lace, the boerenbont pattern, and poetry. But it’s not all about good looks – DesignKAAS cheeses were recently named amongst the top 25 cheeses in the Netherlands!
