The story of how Chris Viljoen and Christan Boshoff found and renovated their home in Green Point, Cape Town, is a study in perseverance and tenacity. If you can get your hands on a copy, read all about it on pages 62 – 69 of Issue 62. But even if you don’t know all the details, I’m sure these pics of their historic, double-volume space will convince you that their patience and hard work was all worth while.
Much of the couples’ furniture, including these poppy 70’s Joe Colombo chairs, comes from Joburg antiques dealer Wim Castleman, owner of Decade at 44 Stanley Rd.
And with Issue 62 being the Kitchens Issue and all, a pic of Chris and Christan’s gorgous kitchen, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, is utterly essential. They say the kitchen is is a work in progress, with a range of freestanding units that can be configured at a whim. Turn to page 69 of Issue 62 to get your hands on Chris’s legendary chicken pie recipe.
