The Beanstork

That amazing bunch who started with the Whatiftheworld / Gallery, then branched out into the Neighbourgoods Market , and most recently a Superette, also appear to have the energy to run the Whatiftheworld / Design Studio. It’s all quite astonishing, really, and I’ll follow up soon with more about each branch of their energetic empire.

But the focus this time is on their studio’s brand new product: It’s a lanky, yet elegant shelving unit called the BEANSTORK, designed by XK for Whatiftheworld / Design Studio.

Measuring approximately 2.4m x 1.2m, the The BEANSTORK is a flat-pack design, and the shelves are available in an assortment of colours.

While The BEANSTORK is available exclusively through the Cape Town-based Whatiftheworld / Design Studio, Johannesburg designistas will be thrilled to hear that they are soon opening a  new collaborative project space with Dokter and Misses in Johannesburg called CO-OP, and all the Design Studio products will also be available through that set up.
