Christmas with Girard

This is the last post for this year, and appropriately enough, we’ll leave you with something that’s both seasonal and absolutely classic. Girard nativity

This wooden nativity, created by House Industries, is a homage to the huge collection of nativities that Alexander Girard amassed, most of which he spent the last years of his life curating for his wing at the International Museum of Folk Art in Santa Fe.

The 13 piece painted maple wood nativity set is based on a Girard illustration that hangs in his son’s house. Visit the House Industries website to find out more about this, and the other Girard-inspired pieces that House Industries has on offer.
