Product company Egg Designs is no stranger to the pages of our magazine, nor to this blog, so we’re really loving taking a peek behind the scenes, into the home of the dynamic duo behind Egg Designs.
Greg and Roche Dry and their two children live on a smallholding in the lush rolling hills of Drummond, just a short drive from Durban, but a long way from the grime and grind of the city. With the help of architect Paul Nel, the couple’s revamp (the theme of this issue) involved a transformation of a cluster of nondescript farm buildings into a clean, simple living space, perfect for family life, and for showcasing their groundbreaking designs too. Fans should be able to spot a good few Egg Designs products in these outtakes from our story on pages 50 – 59 of the Revamp Issue.

Fantastic to see the home of this talented duo, who live very close to me!
Impressive, I am really impressed by seeing your decorations, but I must tell you that Durban is Heaven on Planet Earth and this city is already competing against top cities of the world, I must say that I am in love with this city. I am a South African living in England and I used to Live in Umhlanga – Durban long time ago and even today I still have the memories of Durban, it is such a nice place I have ever seen, especially the weather in Durban is so nice and warm also beaches to name a few Umhlanga beach, Ballito Beach, Zinkwazi Beach, Umhlali Beach, Tinley Manor Beach, Thompson’s Bay Beach and I had time of my life at Sea Point – Durban. I would love to go back one day and experience the warmth and enjoy being on the soil of South Africa.
