I’ve been catching glimpses of tinsel and angels already appearing in the shops, and actually, the silly season really is just around the corner! Let’s try celebrating in eco-style this year, taking our cue from Australian home and personal accessories outfit Polli. What sets this all-female company apart is that they use recycled materials like stainless steel, brass, and recycled card, and have been certified as low CO2.
Polli has just released an eco deco kit for the holidays, and has generously offered to give one away to a lucky DECO reader.

The boxed kit contains 30 decorations with 6 meters of ribbon to either make a garland, hanging decorations or gift tags. Each kit contains the Tree, Dove and Olive Branch designs and are naturally printed in Australia on 100% recycled card.
To enter, click here and send an email to Kate with the answer to this question: Where is the Polli eco deco kit produced?
Giveaway entries close on 11 October, and the winner will be contacted directly.

Dear Madame/Sir,
I write to you to recommend photographs and articles about the USA/New York.
By way of introduction, I am Eniko Szucs, a Hungarian based freelance professional photographer, design manager and photo journalist. I am working as freelance for years for Hungarian Elle Décor, Marie Claire, H.O.M.E and other female and interior design magazines.
Since I am currently living for long term in New York area, I decided to contact with some leading European magazines too, to offer photography materials, themes and articles for them. That’s why I write to you as well.
Some of my previous works might be seen on my website. I created travel and food-related articles, interviews, and green/living/lifestyle articles.
If you would be interested in special themes about New York city (travel, interior design, architecture, food articles, interviews with someone, anything), please do not hesitate to contact me at photos@enikoszucs.com. I would appreciate to work to your magazine.
For more references and samples please visit my online portfolio on http://www.enikoszucs.com. I am ready to join your team and work to your magazine.
I appreciate for your time to read my email.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Enikő Szűcs photographer
