Easy spring style: Hanging vases

We’ve come up with a range of easy and cheap vase ideas for you to try out during spring. Last week we featured The Colour Cluster Effect, this week we show you how to suspend your glassware, in mid-air…

GET THE LOOK Collect old glassware from your kitchen cupboard, or head out to your local shop and source brightly coloured glassware. Use nylon gut to tie around each glass, using more than one string per glass. Make sure you collect and tie up all the threads into one knot at the very top, as seen in the picture above. Hang carefully, for this will be quite a balancing act.

DECO TIP Coloured glass really comes into its own when it catches the light – maximise this effect by hanging up the glass vases in a window or an open space that gets a lot of natural light.

Get your hands on our latest Spring Issue to see our full feature on great vase ideas. See last week’s The Colour Cluster Effect post here.

Hi there, I have some fabulous ideas as regards decorating with flowers, using all mediums. I am a designer by trade and am currently doing decor as an art form. My ideas encompass lighting, flower arranging, decorating ideas. I would like to take some photos for Christmas decor that I am currently working on and write an article about the creative ideas. How does one go about submitting for publication?
