Released to commemorate the upcoming London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, this limited-edition stamp set (created in collaboration with the Isle of Man Post Office) is Paul Smith at his most graphic, colourful and optimistic best. The starting point for the design was inspired by his close friend and Isle of Man native, Mark Cavendish – who also happens to be an Olympic cyclist. The group of seven stamps can be bought from Paul Smith’s online shop, www.paulsmith.co.uk, ranging from a mini-sheet of stamps to a beautiful hardback collector’s book (for £50). As much as we’ve enjoyed having this eye-candy in the office, we’re going to part with our mini set as a token of love for you.

I have been collecting stamps for almost 6 years now and I have awide collection of stamps from all countries.I have stamps from the U.K. which I purchased when I visited London. My brother has been an avid stamp collector for many years and he is about to turn 50 … imagine if I could add this collection to his “wish llist”… I’m holding thumbs!!
I inherited a stamp collection from my great grandfather and have been trying to add to it ever since, which I’ve found a bit difficult in these modern letter-free times we live in! If I won these beauties, I’d have them printed onto scatter cushions as suggested above (amazing!) and then add them to my collection. Truly beautiful.
