We’ve just hit ‘print’ on our upcoming ‘Country Fresh’ Winter Issue – best described as the most collectable issue of ELLE DECORATION to date. So you better save the date. It’s on shelf 21 May 2012. We’ve spent quite a few weeks researching, conceptualising, shooting, editing, compiling and designing this special compilation of all things winter. And now it’s finally off to be printed. Here’s your first look before we take these print-outs off our studio wall…

Our Online Editor and designer Charl Edwards (below) came to work colour-coded and dressed in the pale pink colour palette of his favourite Winter Issue lay-out – the opener of an Italian homestead. (Tomorrow he’ll be dressing up as the featured Swedish home.)

This Italian house was unanimously voted by all here at DECO as the home we’d most like to live in. But we’re not revealing any more, so you’ll have to buy the issue to see its unbelievable and spectacular location. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got yourself a copy of our Ideas Issue, out now!
