Visioni For cc-tapis | Salone Del Mobile 2016

cc-tapis collaborated with a wide range of designers for Salone Del Mobile 2016, including the ultra talented Patricia Urquiola. The basis of the project is substance and material, focusing on creating an infinite combination of knots, shades and designs.

The brief was for each designer to bring their own unique vision and feeling to the artisanal capabilities of cc-tapis, and oh boy did Urquiola get it right! Her design characteristics and personal approach shines through the contemporary designs of the Visioni rugs.

Visioni

A pioneering synthesis between age-old techniques and abstract graphics, the new Visioni rugs have been produced solely by hand at the cc-tapis atelier in Nepal. An innovative combination of Himalayan wool and pure silk, gives depth and a wonderful sense of richness to ancient production methods.
