Andy Warhol’s Mick Jagger silkscreen – signed by Warhol and Jagger, and valued at R300 000 to R350 000 – headlines the auction on 4 and 5 June. The UJ Arts Centre opens Craig Muller’s ‘Behind the Ochre Curtain’ exhibition this week. In this collection the artist explores historic and mythological concepts, working in a two-dimensional format as opposed to his signature wood and metal sculptures.

Spend a day on the slopes of Smuts Hill whilst browsing through over 300 arts and crafts stalls, the market’s antiques & collectables section as well as the new deli and food stalls. The market is held on the second and last Saturday of every month and also offers a children’s entertainment area and a tea garden.
