Located on Camps Bay’s vibrant Victoria Road, Mantra Café is a chic beachside cafe housed on the first floor of a contemporary glass building and offers diners uninterrupted views of Camps Bay’s famous shoreline.
Mantra is the first restaurant and bar by successful franchise Melissa’s and offers up sophisticated laid back dining coupled with a classic, uncomplicated menu – perfect for a romantic dinner date, brunch with friends or simply a place to unwind with a glass of wine after a long day.
The interior, designed by owners Mark and Melissa van Hoogstraten, combines pieces by local carpenters, craftsmen and artists with a light colour palette, copper detailing and raw textures. Large glass panels open up to reveal incredible beach views, giving the cafe a light, airy and relaxed feel. At the entrance to the restaurant is a small retail store where one can browse Melissa’s range of gourmet food products, beautiful homewares and gifts.
Mantra Café is open for breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner and offers a full bar menu with a select of cocktails, including their signature Mantra Gin Fizz.
