Characterised by its moody aesthetic, In’s Café in Taiwan combines nostalgia and the present in a way that is both unexpected and enticing.
In’s Café is located on the hillside of Taichung city and is a surprising design endeavour that came about through revamping a garage, which now encompasses a beautiful café located in a greenhouse. The café resembles a rustic, antiquity with touches of modern luxury displayed through its dark teal facade. The café boasts a courtyard with a distinct wooden wall feature which complements the more classic stained tiles that embellish the indoor bar area – this combination of seemingly opposing elements is something that Ris Interior Design always gets right.
One truly gets a sense of nostalgia and although we haven’t visited this café yet, if the aesthetics are anything to go by, then the food must be tasty.
