ODA | objekt.design.art is located in the heart of Franschhoek and is a double volume contemporary art gallery incorporating a variety of art and design disciplines.
The space allows for continuous flow and change which enables the exhibits to interact as opposed to being displayed as isolated pieces. Visitors to the gallery will note that the works of established artists are showcased side by side with those who are still emerging in the art scene, resulting in a visually engaging display. Barriers between disciplines of craft, design and art are erased, creating a joyful experience where one can simply enjoy the experience of both the beauty and individuality of mixed elements.
The gallery also happens to be home of ANPA Jewellery in Franschhoek, who’s collection is the result of a 15 year design collaboration between Andreas Betzold & Patrizia Litty.
If you’re a fan of Paul Blomkamp’s work then ODA | objekt.design.art is the place to be this Friday as the gallery will be hosting a launch for his new exhibition “Quanta” which will include a meet and greet with the artist.
