Woodbender has opened a new showroom in Johannesburg and is now proud to call Parkhurst home. The lively suburb, which is a mecca for couture, interior design and dining, was the perfect fit for the bentwood furniture manufacturer’s new Gauteng showroom, having previously been based in Kramerville.

The new location serves as an inspirational space where one can view part of the Woodbender range in a styled home setting. The showroom spans two storeys, with the ground floor comprising of dining and lounge settings. A walk upstairs reveals a styled loft apartment setting and showcases a bedroom, dining room and lounge area. Additional furniture samples are exhibited on plinths and hooks on the wall.WoodbenderDue to the extensive nature of the Woodbender range, not every piece is featured but the team have curated select pieces that represent the range well in its entirety. Clients wanting to view an absent sample can make a request to do so and the design will be sent up from head office within 5 days. The furniture is available to be bought as is straight off the floor or it can be ordered and customised with a specified timber finish and fabric.Woodbender
The Woodbender factory and head office are located in Strand, Western Cape. This is where all the furniture is handmade and is then delivered nationally and internationally. Woodbender is a family owned business that employs over 50 skilled men and women to facilitate the production of their furniture. The people who create these designs and the unique age-old process of woodbending are just as important as the finished product itself, and this is reflected in showroom through the use of striking canvas imagery on the walls.
