HEAD ON DESIGN - bamboo kudu - white bg

Head On Design’s products offer style conscious customers modern sculptures for contemporary spaces. Drawing on her inspiration from the wire and paper kudu heads being sold on the streets of Cape Town, Joanna Orr, the eco-friendly designer behind Head On Design has added her own twist and flavour on the traditional trophy heads by using a technique of slotting pieces together to create a 3-dimensional form.

The Head On Design design studio, situated at the foot of Table Mountain, is the result of a passion to create something which is

not only beautiful but which expresses a current growing awareness of the fragility of our planet, its resources and the need to appreciate our wildlife.

Head On Design supports the conservation of our wildlife, and has researched, promoted and donated to organizations that are doing great work to protect our precious natural heritage, such as the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT).

Most popular in the range is the elegant kudu head made in bamboo which and features a beautiful grain and smooth surface. Available in large or medium; these sculptures come flat-packed with clear and easy instructions on how to assemble and hang. Other animals in the range include the elephant, rhino, buffalo, nguni and lion.
