Today in our 25 Days of Giving celebration, ODEON at the Watershed are giving away a Wonki Ware hamper worth R1 624 including a Wonki Ware meat platter, large etosha server, extra large etosha server and a Siyazisiza Jacarnda wooden spoon and fork set.
A tableware store founded by Trevyn and Julian McGowan of Source, ODEON offers a carefully curated section of handmade iconic artisanal brands, including the globally renowned ceramics range Wonki Ware, Ngwenya Glass, Ilovani, Indigi, Gone Rural, Ginger Cat and many others.
Trevyn and Julian McGowan are the dynamic husband-and-wife team who have transformed the South African design landscape over the past 10 years. Through their company, Source, they export local design product to high-end international retailers such as Anthropologie and The Conran Shop.
They are the founders of Southern Guild (and the not-for-profit Southern Guild Design Foundation), the foremost collectable design gallery in South Africa.
In 2014 they launched GUILD, Africa’s first international design fair, in Cape Town, and were also selected as curators of the new Watershed project at the V&A Waterfront.
