To celebrate this festive season and as our gift to you, our loyal readers, ELLE Decoration’s 25 Days of Giving is here to bring you daily prizes of the best in decor and design. Go on and enter – you could be one of our daily winners!
Today is the second of our 25 Days of Giving celebration, and we have gorgeous items from the Art in the Forest Forestware Raku collection worth R1 500 up for grabs!
Art in the Forest is a non-profit social enterprise, which operates from a Bauhaus building in the beautiful Cecilia Forest, off Constantia Nek circle in Cape Town.
Run by well-known Master Potter Anthony Shapiro, the mission at Art in the Forest is to mentor young, aspiring ceramists and to give children from under-serviced areas access to art and creativity. The profits of our business go directly towards our foundation called ‘Light from Africa’.
Our proudly South African, contemporary studio line is produced on site and is aptly named ‘Forestware’. Our ceramics are sold locally and abroad; stockists include the Conran Stores in London and ABC Carpet and Home in New York City.
Available from The Watershed, V&A Waterfront
Summer Opening Hours: 10am-7pm
Winter Opening Hours: 10am-6pm
