Balducci at the V&A Waterfront have added a vegan menu to their eclectic offering and it’s already proving to be popular with both vegans and non-vegans.
The standalone vegan menu is creative and comprehensive with over 60 delicious options which includes freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, vegetable sushi and Asian bowls, salads and wraps, burgers, pizza and pasta.
“Our new plant-based menu reflects our commitment to supporting sustainable organic agriculture in the long term, our respect for the planet and our commitment to meeting the needs of all our diners.” says Ian Halfon, co-owner of Balducci and MD of the Slick Restaurant Group.
Balducci also aims to ensure that the ingredients are of the highest quality with organic and non genetically modified produce and free from refined sugar and oil, preservatives and chemicals wherever possible.
The Slick Restaurant Group’s commitment to the environment includes the use of menus printed on recycled paper with sustainable ink, recycled paper bags printed with vegetable ink and phasing out the use of disposable plastic products.
