The Umcebo Trust is a Durban-based NGO, doing great work with beads and lighting. Working with local crafters, they make intricate chandeliers, using glass beads, galvanised wire, acrylics and recycled materials.

The Trust has a shop in the Village Walk at uShaka Marine World, and this also operates as a workshop, where the chandeliers are put together, before your very eyes.

The Umcebo Trust sells chandeliers and other beadwork products from their store, and also take on commissions. Take a look at more of their work in the online catalogue.
