Mulberry & Prince Kitchen and Bar has introduced an exciting new brunch menu that will be served every Sunday from 10h00 to 14h00.
Situated just off of Bree Street and renowned for being one of the trendiest hotspots in Cape Town, Mulberry & Prince is not only a chic hangout (we love the iconic sandy pink door) but also a great place to go when you want to relish in some comfort food. The “Lazy Sunday” menu is not a big departure from the American style gourmet food that Mulberry & Prince is popular for but one should not expect to be served regular eggs and bacon because these are brunch classics with a twist.
The menu features buttermilk biscuits smothered in housemade sausage gravy, chicken and waffles with Texas-style hot sauce as well as brioche french toast infused with nutmeg and served with whipped honey butter and maple syrup. And to further appeal to one’s taste-bud temptations, we recommend that you couple your meal with a glass of bubbles, a mimosa or a spicy bloody Mary garnished with a green olive stuffed with blue cheese.
Having only opened in April 2016, Mulberry & Prince has established itself as the go-to place for a New York -style dining experience, which is suitably the owners and chefs’ studies at the Culinary Institute of America and how the establishment borrowed its name. Cornel Mostert and Cynthia Rivera have found a way to tap into what makes American food what it is, simply irresistible.
