Outlandish Feasts, by Jules Mercer & Co. is a collab between local producers and a foodie with interesting ideas

We’re fascinated by the way collaboration is becoming the way we’re all working now – and in our Spring Issue we took a look at who’s doing what with whom. The shots here are of foodie Jules Mercer’s collaboration with farmers in the Cape, to produce beautiful meals cooked on the very ground where the produce was grown and harvested. The full story on Jules and her nomadic rural feasts, ‘Outlandish Kitchen’, is in our ‘Collaborate’ feature in our ‘Spring Fever’ Issue 86, now on shelf. ‘Collaborate’ also looks at how people are designing and sharing office space differently now. How Die Moederskip a collective of designers in Pretoria have become the talk of Tshwane town. How a name like Missibaba has paired up with a name like Kirsten Goss. And how a husband and wife team, in possession of supreme taste in antiques and contemporary furniture, are making Stellenbosch drool for high design and antiques from another galaxy altogether. And that – as they say in the ads – is not all.

Pick up a copy of our Spring Issue and read about all the collaborations that have caught our eye lately.

Oh – and we’ve been blogging about a few top collabs too, lately. Read about the Louis Vuitton / The Selby collab here, and Die Moederskip here.
