This upcoming weekend Cape Town welcomes the first ever Toffie Food Festival. Following the super successful Toffie Pop Culture Festival earlier this year, this new addition to the Toffie brand is sure to inject some HOT flavour to Cape Town’s culinary calendar.

Described as a 2 day ‘food salon’, Toffie Food is an exclusive 2-day food festival and conference, offering tastings, dinner parties, workshops, food exhibitions, a cookbook shop, food market and Sunday braai. (Deco editor Laureen Rossouw will be hosting one of the home dinners in her city apartment.)

Speakers lined up for the event include ‘coffee chef’ Tung-Yuan Lin, world-famous food-blogger Julie Powell, Argentinian cookbook publisher Eloise Alemany, West Coast maverick Kobus Van der Merwe, perfumer Tammy Frazer, Nelson Mandela: Hunger for Freedom author Anna Trapido and Renata Coetzee, author of Koekemakranka.
