Built on a historical town square, owner of Créma Design, Craig Raeside redesigned his cottage to blend smart architectural principles with simple style and elegance.

It was twelve years before Craig saw his double story cottage in the Bo-Kaap transformed in to a chic new home for him and his husband Christian Raeside, a Cape Town lawyer. Craig bought the cottage while based in London in 2004 and when he decided to return to South Africa eight years later, he acquired Créma Design and got his renovation going.

Recreate Craig’s look with a sleek yet playful interior by using bold colours, fresh foliage and modern finishings…
