What do you get when you combine an incredible organisation, one of our favourite hotspot getaways Max Executive Apartments, and gourmet cupcakes? We’ll tell you – you get Cupcakes for Hope.
Aiming to raise awareness and funds for families in need of medical assistance for their children, the non-profit company Cupcakes For Hope aims to do so the sweeter way. Collaborating with the luxury accommodation Max Executive Apartments to create a beautiful setting for the afternoon, pop into the heart of Sandton to give back. With Cupcakes of Hope having a history that dates back to 2009, the organisation has hosted a number of fundraisers, most notably Cupcakes 4 Kids With Cancer, where they have even partnered with Mugg & Bean.
Setting a world record for putting 21 000 cupcakes on display, they have also showcased a Madiba Mosaic of cupcakes and a cupcake tree 8 metres high in Fourways Mall to raise awareness over the past few years. Assisting charities like CANSA, Reach For a Dream, The Sunflower Fund and CHOC to name only a few, more than a R1million has been raised by Cupcakes For Hope.
Bring out your sweet tooth for the afternoon in the child friendly hotel and enjoy decadence for a worthy cause baked by the Max Executive Apartments staff. With a variety of flavours on display, themed in living colour for Max Apartments and Cupcakes for Hope, we can’t wait to take a bite.
