Have you been reading our sister publication ELLE‘s coverage of Cape Town Fashion Week? We were lucky enough to attend over the weekend, and were totally inspired by the talent on our doorstep. DECO’s designer Charl’s highlight was the colour combinations and textiles by Lalesso, editorial assistant Maryke was blown away by the models on tables at David Tlale and my personal favourite had to be Danielle Margaux’s clean-cut 50s silhouettes. In a tribute to fashion’s influence on decor, we’ve matched some of our favourite outfits with pieces from the design world. By the way, notice anything familiar about the colours rocking the catwalk this season? They’re all on the cover of our latest International issue! (image above: Fashion by Daniele Margaux.
