From left: Twist of Fate, Here and Now, I Miss You all by Lakin Ogunbanwo's 'Are we Good Enough?' series

Kick off 2016 with a cultural bang! DECO discovered two fantastic exhibitions sure to tickle your fancy at WHATIFTHEWORLD gallery, entitled ‘Foreign Bodies’ and ‘Are we Good Enough?’, both on until 23 January.

Patterns of Migration by Dan Halter in ‘Foreign Bodies’

In collaboration with some of South Africa’s most prevalent artists, Foreign Bodies exhibits new work that encapsulates the language of bodies. Artists such as Sanell Aggenbach, Julia Rosa Clark, Dan Halter, Moffat Takadiwa, Mohau Modisakeng and Pierre Fouché  successfully look beyond the flesh, questioning the borders between skin and the world.
