‘Persephone’s Tears, Water Element’ exhibition opening

Artist Judy Woodborne presents a collection of oil paintings through which she has explored various representations of water from both Eastern and Western perspectives. Amongst the works on display are seascapes from the artist’s travels to Zanzibar, the South African West coast, Namibia and Cape Agulhas; in the artist’s own words, these paintings represent “a visual mediation, a restful moment of contemplation and tranquility.”
