In Toto is the Latin phrase meaning, ‘’In total – encompassing everything.’’ And that’s exactly what the In Toto Gallery is all about – an exciting, new Joburg gallery featuring local, international, historical and contemporary works of art.

Pieces from Saso Sinadinovski’s ‘Studies’ exhibition, which was recently on.
Sinadinovski’s work is an exploration of ‘the universal human condition’

On the international front they have featured impressive artists such as Dublin’s based photographer Paul Gaffney, Vivian van Blerk, Oscar Delmar, Dan Hillier and sculptures from House on Fire.

Works by local artis Jane Eppel

Local artists that have been exhibited include Jane Eppel, James Delany, Aurelia James and Michael James.

The gallery constantly reinvents its interior space – the furniture is often moved around and the walls are painted often to give it a different atmosphere. From the 18th of July to the 12th of August, the gallery rooms will form part of ‘Interiors’, an exhibition in which ‘scenes of space’ will be portrayed in the artwork.

The In Toto Gallery is located at 6 Birdhaven Centre. 66 St. Andrew Street, Birdhaven, Johannesburg. For more information go to or contact them on 011 447 6543.
