Date Balls Recipe

Preparing snacks or meals for work can often feel like a lengthy chore, especially when you’re trying to put only healthy nutrients in to your body. We found this tasty and quick recipe for you to try out – perfect as a tea time snack at the office.

These date balls are made up of four simple ingredients, contain no processed sugar and will only take you ten minutes to prepare! Emma Jane Menteath, blogger of My Life in Pink, suggested experimenting and adding additional ingredients such as cinnamon or orange zest.


2 cups of seedless dates

1/4 cup of water

2/3 cup gluten free oats

1/2 cup of coconut flakes

1tbs chai seeds

Additional coconut flakes for sprinkling

1. Blend the seedless dates until smooth.

2. Once blended – add water, gluten free oats and chai seeds.

3. Roll the mixture in to balls and coat with coconut flakes.
