After a recent trip to the magical Tintswalo Safari Lodge, it was discovered that the only one way to embrace such a trip was to do it in style. Putting a new meaning to ‘roughing it’, here are DECO’s top must-haves when heading into the bush.
If you haven’t been on a Safari yet, then you have a lot to look forward to in life. Over and over again it is described as a life changing experience, which we discovered for ourselves this winter. May and December are the best months to plan a trip, as the bush is dry and low, drawing animals to waterholes and letting them be in clear view.
But don’t get caught unaware; apart from your camera and layers of warm clothing, there are some other things that will make your trip that much more picture perfect.
