It has been a year since designers and artists across South Africa ‘went Bos’ in attempt to design the coolest can for BOS Ice Tea. ELLE Decoration partnered with BOS at this year’s 100% Design Expo where the campaign was officially announced. This year the Design a Can campaign is bigger, better and crossing borders as the competition GOES INTERNATIONAL. So pick up your pens and get sketching!
With the simple brief to ‘Go BOS!‘, entrants are tasked at creating a limited edition can design for BOS’s refreshing Yuzu Flavour Ice Tea. And the prize, you ask? A generous R10 000 in cash, or 1000 Euros, and the chance for the winner to see their design on 100 000 BOS cans – a great opportunity to launch your design career.
With BOS’s growing European presence and championing creative expression, entries have been opened to an international level inviting all creatives from South Africa and Europe to submit their designs. The international judging panel includes the 2014 winner Ofentse Letebele, South African fashion and photography icon Trevor Stuurman and Editor in Chief of Netherlands Frame Magazine Robert Thiemann, to name a few.
Our design philosophy when it comes to our products is that, even though it’s just a can of cold drink, it should be as beautiful as it can be. - Follow the instructions to upload to the BOS Gallery or email firstname.lastname@example.org
- Competition opens 6th August 2015 and ends on 15 November 2015. Winners will be announced in the 1st week of December 2015.
