Salon 91’s newest exhibition ‘Dreams, Amongst Other Things’ is group exhibition introducing the combined talents of four young local artists, with a knack for producing whimsical and dream-like creations. DECO took a closer look at their inspiring and diverse work.

Introducing… Amber Moir

You might have seen Amber’s intriguing works exhibited just last year within ‘GREATEST HITS 2014: THE DOMESTIC ODYSSEY at the AVA Gallery – a curated exhibition with artworks selected from the Michaelis School of Fine Art UCT, Ruth Prowse School of Art and the Stellenbosch University’s graduate exhibitions.

Introducing… Mia Louw

Mia is a BA Fine Art and Photography graduate from Stellenbosch University, with a sustained interest in ‘automatic transformation, manipulated by nature’. In the past, Mia has collaborated with fellow exhibitor Isabella Kuijers, combining her photographic interests with Isabella’s art. You can read more at Archetype Magazine, here.
