MRP Home is all about local love and takes every opportunity to support local industries in South Africa. Their Collab Ranges are a result of teaming up and collaborating with some of the country’s talented local designers, making local design accessible and affordable to South Africans.

One such designer is Cape Town local, Gaby Beyers, with whom they have teamed up to create new range ‘A Sea Inside’. Gaby creates photographic textiles and furnishings for customers who have an “eclectic and off-beat sensibility” and her aim is for her art to create a tactile experience and therefore extend the traditional wall-mounted art to other areas of the home.

Gaby describes herself as having an evocative relationship with the ocean and ‘The Sea Inside’ focuses on its finer details as opposed to its vast magnitude. Gaby draws inspiration from macro images of coral, with its symmetry and geometric patterns creating a perceived balanced design.

This celebration of local design and creativity from our diverse community includes 2 wall art pieces, duvet cover and scatter cushions and will be available in stores the 3rd week of April through to the end of May.
