To be up for a free pair of true Brit Hunter boots (featured in yesterday’s post) we asked you to send us your idea of what constitutes iconic British style, and post it on our Facebook page.

We loved our readers’ Facebook contributions so much, we decided to show them off here.

Thanks people.

Please keep it coming. (And, where possible, please try to add sources and photographer credits to your images.) The competition ends 23 August 2012.  For full details, please see yesterday’s blog post.

I am also a huge fan of their use of ‘modern’ and ‘old’ typical English styles such as antique themed wall paper and then placing a bold rug on the floor.'
