The Zine: The Carnation


The Cape Town-based zine focuses on showcasing floral design, art and travel through photography and collaborations with local creatives such as photographer and stylist Ané Strydom and sculptor Ben Orkin. Each issue has a distinctive theme in which they showcase how far you can push floral design. They have also recently produced a calendar, which you can read about here.

The Visual Artist: Wang & Söderström


The Swedish art and design studio was founded by spatial and furniture designer Anny Wang and architect Tim Söderström. Creating and exploring both digital and physical mediums in their distinctive style such as a window display for department store Selfridges in London and a personal project, Omega 3, create through digital illustration.
