Building a house in a desert with nothing but rolling dunes behind, and sea in front requires a lot of planning and respect for this harsh enviroment. Swakopmund-based architect Sanderine Biermann has succeeded in making a desert oasis that manages to make the most of its extraordinary views, while not feeling overly exposed to the elements.
