Building a house in a desert with nothing but rolling dunes behind, and sea in front requires a lot of planning and respect for this harsh enviroment. Swakopmund-based architect Sanderine Biermann has succeeded in making a desert oasis that manages to make the most of its extraordinary views, while not feeling overly exposed to the elements.
See more about this desert oasis on pages 48 to 57 of our Outside Inside issue, on shelf this Thursday.
