It is time to BUY LOCAL. Do you want to see South African design grow from strength to strength? Do you want to nurture design talent? Here is your chance.

The KAMERS Vol Geskenke team is well known for their innovative sourcing of creative talent and fresh, new product ideas. It is a platform for creative, innovative and upcoming entrepreneurs to showcase unique products that are not easily available in the marketplace. KAMERS is not into the perfectly made or the mass produced, it is about high end true craft, slightly imperfect, timeless and originally designed… that special something that is only found at the shows.

Having just returned from their second KAMERS in Bloemfontein, the team is hard at work and very excited about the Stellenbosch and Irene shows coming up soon. We hear that there were 600 applications this year and only 225 selected by the KAMERS team so we’re very excited to see who made it through the picking process and into this creative feast.

Over the last decade KAMERS Vol Geskenke has had the privilege to present South Africa’s top creativity in some of the finest venues. Continuing this tradition, they are hosting the KAMERS Stellenbosch at Webersburg Estate, on the 5 to 10 November. They will end the year on a high in Irene, Pretoria at The Open Window School, from 3 to 8 December.

With transformation as this year’s theme, KAMERS provides a visual and creative feast of exceptional handmade and crafted products. A selection of the best originally designed wares, from jewellery, gourmet food products, ceramics and soft furnishings, to décor accessories, garden gear, designer clothing and accessories, will be available from our niche suppliers from 9:00 until 18:00 daily, with extended shopping hours until 20:00 on Friday evenings.

On Friday the 8th of November KAMERS will host en evening of live music. Local artists Lonesome Dave FergusonSannie Fox and The Ride (Lucy Kruger, Andre Leo & Lucas Swart) will perform until 8.00pm.

The music alone would be well worth your visit and ticket, so this is another reason not to miss KAMERS.
