About Baluchi rugs   Baluchi’s are an Afghanistan staple – most notably, Baluchi prayer rugs. Made by Baluchi people, especially in western Afghanistan near Herat, Baluchi prayer rugs can be muddy-looking rugs of almost no merit, or charming little tribal pieces. Virtually all are made on a wool foundation with synthetic dyes.

You can find Narci’s Rugs at Shop No. L 12, Michelangelo Tower Mall, Comer 5th and Maude St, Sandton. Tell: 011 783 9321. Mobile: 083 291 2525 Web: www.narcisrugs.co.za
