Inspired by her travels, designer Paola Navone made her Paris apartment feel like an eclectic summer country house. The bathroom and master bedroom invoke the Mediterranean, while touches of Asia – another of her favorite destinations – are peppered throughout her home.

Originally from Turin in Italy, Paola Navone is an architect, art director, interior designer, and exhibition and event organiser. See more of her Paris apartment on the Côté Maison website.

We featured another of Paola’s interior triumphs in Elle Decoration Issue No. 88, our Trends Issue, now on shelf. Go to page 60 to read how Paula repurposed a silk and tobacco factory, turning it into a spectacular open plan modernist apartment, using white liberally and old things made good with clever design thinking. It’s full of ideas and interior inspiration, to give your creative juices a squeeze.
