At the ICFF last weekend, I spotted some pretty whimsical stuff I thought you might like too.

Oshibe, by interactive designer Tomomi Sayuda “plays sounds, has lights and entertains you” when you move the little egg-shaped objects around. The eggs light up, and sweet sounds fill the air. It’s charming, really it is.

London-based design company Paperself was showing these delicate paper false eyelashes, inspired by Chinese papercuts. They’re quite wonderfully batty.

Designer Sung Kug Kim’s Bi-King is part of his challenge to adopt more poetic and artistic approaches to everyday objects. At ICFF, the bicycle fell under his scrutiny, with these beautifully-made results.
